The Rules

No-Shows

No-show = automatic ejection from the tournament. No exceptions. If you can't make a night, get ahead of it through the support form.

All 5 Nights Required

Every qualifier night is mandatory — even if you already have 3 wins. Any no-show results in automatic removal.

Best 3 Of 5

Every battle in the series — qualifiers and playoffs — is best 3 of 5.

Keep It 1v1

The tournament is only between you and your paired opponent. No additional creators, no supporters, no boxes. Violations mean a loss and possible removal.

Grace Period

Allow a 10-minute window before reporting a no-show. After that, refs award the win.

Refs Watch Live

Look for the badge. A Ref Team member is in the chat during battles — tracking wins and losses, watching for glitches, making rulings.

Times & Schedule

All times posted in EST. Your battle time and opponent post on the NLA website daily by 4:00 PM EST.

Conduct

Keep it respectful and sportsmanlike. Any harassment or unsportsmanlike behavior = immediate removal.

Who Can Join

This series is exclusive to the top 10% of creators. If that's you, lock in before sign-ups close Aug 19 at 11 PM EST.

FAQ

Where can I find my battle time and opponent?
Your daily battle schedule and opponent are posted in the Battle Viewer above, updated daily by 4:00 PM EST so you have time to prepare.
What do I do if I need to change my battle time?
Fill out the Tournament Support Form (also on the Recapture Livestream Instagram page). This helps the team track requests and keep the battle schedule organized.
What if there is an issue during my battle?
If you experience a problem during a battle — technical issues, scoring concerns, an opponent no-show — submit the Tournament Support Form so the situation is properly reviewed.
Will anyone be watching the battles live?
Yes. A Ref Team member is present in the chat during battles — monitoring the match, watching for glitches, and making rulings if something unexpected happens.
What if the battle glitches or disconnects?
The Ref Team is already watching and will step in if a ruling is needed. If the issue continues or needs follow-up, also submit the Tournament Support Form.
Why do I need to use the forms?
The forms help the Recapture team track issues quickly, stay organized, and resolve problems fairly for all creators.
Are sign-ups still open?
Regular sign-ups closed August 19 at 11:00 PM EST. Last-minute add-ins are accepted until 5:00 PM EST on August 20 — ask your agent to get you added. Late entries don't battle until Night 2 on August 21, and after 5 PM the field is locked.
